About Hippo Prestige

The Hippo Group was established in 2006 by Thomas and Richard Preston.

Historically the ‘Preston’ family, Thomas and Richard’s ancestors, began trading in 1906 as coal merchants however by the 1960’s they changed direction and entered the competitive world of motor trade. Their strong focus on customer service meant that having successfully established a Bedford franchise they were offered (and accepted) franchises from other manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Land Rover, BMW and MINI.

Since then their expertise and knowledge has been passed through the generations; they have formed strong relationships with other main dealers and traders throughout the country which has enabled them to establish their own Company – Hippo Prestige. They now source and purchase their own stock and offer a service that is envied within the industry.
