2017: Treat Yourself To An Upgrade
A belated happy New Year and welcome to 2017. Every new year, it is a time of contemplation on the past but considering the year ahead. You may have had a successful 2016 and are looking to improve upon your success this year. If that is the case and you wish to celebrate your successes either personally or professionally, an upgrade in vehicle is one of the best ways to do it.
Whether you are looking to purchase upwards and get your first prestige car or you simply fancy a change from on prestige car to another, we have a great selection of stock ready for you to browse this new year. We are starting the year off with some of the most amazing cars currently on the market and here are just a few examples. These cars range from the executive car to the baby supercars for sale.
Mercedes C-Class is available on Prestige car leasing or finance
The go-to premium, medium sized executive saloon has long been the Mercedes C-Class. It is a great choice of car for those you looking for your first upgrade to a prestige vehicle. Whilst the flagship Mercedes is the S-Class, the C-Class is an excellent smaller version with a feel of opulence and luxury.
The top C-Class we currently have in stock and available for you to upgrade to is the Mercedes C-Class C220d Sport Premium Plus. The engine under this bonnet is a 2.2-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. It produces 170 bhp from its engine and is mated with an automatic gearbox. With that power, this C-Class has a top speed of 145 mph and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 7.4 seconds.
Mercedes C-Class cars are usually great for fuel efficiency and this model is no different. It has a combined fuel economy of 65.7 mpg, which is impressive for the size of car on offer. For those of you, who spend most of your time in the city, the Urban fuel economy is 53 mpg, which is better than a few city cars on offer. This car is home on the motorway and it has a fuel economy to match it. The Extra-Urban fuel economy produces 79 mpg, which means it is cheap to run, especially for long distances.
Inside you get luxury style, close to that of this car’s big sibling the S-Class. The dashboard is uncluttered and you get a floating display screen and those signature circular air vents. DAB radio and Bluetooth are included as standard. The model we have has a cream interior with a beautiful wooden dash.
When it comes to space, you get plenty of legroom for each passenger and can easily fit four adults. The roof slopes down at the back meaning that six-foot adults may feel a bit tight with regards to headroom, but front passengers should be perfectly content. The boot has a 480-litre capacity also.
You can check out our leasing and finance packages for the Mercedes C-Class here.
The best all-wheel drive, family crossover SUV released last year and critics raved over it and for good reason. We’ve had a selection in stock over the course of 2016 and they have been sold on to many a happy customer. We now have another one in stock: Jaguar F-Pace 2.0d R-Sport 5dr Auto AWD.
The model in the Hippo Prestige showroom comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine paired with an automatic gearbox. The engine produces 180 bhp, giving you a top speed of 129 mph and a quick sprint from 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds. Its quick for the motorway and a very fun car to drive. It is also great for fuel economy considering its size. The combined fuel economy is 53.3 mpg. For you, motorway drivers, you will have an Extra-Urban fuel economy of 60 mpg and for the leafy suburbs where this car will look right at home, the Urban fuel economy is 46 mpg.
Inside the beautiful design you will find plenty of passenger and boot space. The headroom and legroom is plentiful and there is space for 5 six-foot adults to sit in comfort. The driver has an adjustable seat so he can get the perfect driving position and excellent visibility. The standard seats are supportive and very comfortable, ensuring you enjoy your drive without worry or pain. Open the boot and you will find 650-litre boot capacity which is the biggest in its class.
We must mention the F-Pace’s driving ability. Jaguar focused clearly on making a luxury SUV that could drive like a sports car. You may think for its size, that it is both slow and uncontrollable. The F-Pace has phenomenal body control and agility. Combine that with the acceleration speed and you have an excellent drive. In the corners, the F-Pace has plenty of grip thanks to its new traction control system called Adaptive Surface Response. The system juggles power between the four wheels, changing the best suspension setting and throttle response dependent upon the road surface. This car is a fantastic all-rounder. Check out the beautiful SUV that is the Jaguar F-Pace here.
The Audi TT has had a transformation in recent year. The original model was derided as a hairdresser’s car (unsure what the problem is?), but since then it has been through an evolution. The exterior looks sharp and menacing and compact.
We’re focussing on one model in stock: the Audi TT 2.0 TDI Ultra S-Line. It comes with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine paired with a manual gearbox. It develops 184 bhp, giving it a top speed of 149 mph. It sprints from 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds which is excellent for those of you who drive on motorways. With regards to fuel economy this model does a combined fuel economy of 62.8 mpg.
Inside the TT there has been a complete update. The traditional speedometer and rev counter have been replaced with a 12.3-inch digital display that can show you a variety of information and can also be turned into a full-width sat-nav map display.
The passenger space is brilliantly spacious in the front. The leather and Alcantara covered seats are both comfortable and adjustable. The driver can fully adjust their seating position both with the seat and steering wheel. In the boot, you will find you have 305-litres of boot capacity and if you fold those rear seats, which are better for luggage than passengers, you get up to 712-litres of capacity. The Audi TT is a brilliant sports coupe and if you fancy it, have a look here.
McLaren 570 GT
Last year our crowning joy was a yellow and black Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster. It was a wild, fast beautiful beast. This year, we have a car just as impressive but a completely different breed of car. The McLaren 570 GT is one of Britain’s proudest cars. It is fast, elegant and perfectly in control. Different personality compared to the wild and unpredictable Italian Lambo.
570 GT engine
This ‘baby’ McLaren is by no means a small and helpless. Under the bonnet it has 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine that provides a rip-rouring 562 bhp. With that immense power, it sprints from 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and 0-124 mph in 9.8 seconds(we don’t condone this, but isn’t it good to know?). It has a top speed of 204 mph, the fastest car we have on sale. With all this speed and power, you do only get a combined fuel economy of 26 mpg.
570 GT interior
This McLaren comes with a panoramic roof that allows more light to bathe you, increasing your sense of space within. At night, you will also be able to park up and look up at the stars above. The entire design of the interior is targeted towards the driver and their comfort. The seats are power adjustable to ensure that you, the driver can get the best driving position available. The car also features a ‘floating’ centre console with a seven-inch touchscreen.
570 GT performance
The McLaren 570 GT comes with a carbon-fibre chassis and lightweight aluminium body. It is light and agile and has extreme amounts of grip for the corners. This allows you to enter the corner at speed and hold it throughout the corner without a worry. The ride is very smooth and almost silent thanks to the sound absorbing material in the bulkhead and rear deck. McLaren have designed the car to be an excellent GT cruiser and it performs its functions brilliantly.
