Land Rover Range Rover Sport Review
Ranking as one of the best in prestige car sales, the Range Rover Sport has been rated high in numerous reviews for its performance. Although it’s a big and heavy car, the engine does a great job of speeding the car up with ease. The vehicle can go from 30mph to 70mph in about 7.5 seconds. However, it is not quite as strong as other similarly priced cars such as the Porsche Cayenne. As far as handling goes, the wheel is a lot better than the Range Rover Discovery, with its 21-inch alloy wheels riding smoothly over bumps and potholes comfortably. Its quiet engine is also another attraction point and it is highly effective at shutting out exterior noise such as wind and the road.
The interior design of the Range Rover has always been one of its main selling points. It’s incredibly sleek inside and everything from the leather dashboard to the leather seats is nothing short of luxurious. It has an athletic exterior too, which is more compact when compared to the Range Rover Evoque. With comfortable seating, the Range Rover Sports’ wide cabin makes traveling with five people a more pleasurable experience.
In addition, this vehicle can be expanded to a 7-seater with two electronic boot seats.
Being such a well-known luxurious vehicle, it’s no wonder that the Sport comes with some top notch equipment inside. Dual-view technology on its 7-inch touch-screen allows the passenger to watch a DVD whilst the driver watches the sat nav. In addition to this, the car comes with front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera to help avoid any bumps and scratches. The entertainment system inside has recently upgraded from its usual 9 speakers to 11 too. Some more options available for purchase with the Range Rover include: a heated steering wheel, four-zone climate control, remote unlocking, and heated and cooled front and rear seats.
Range Rovers are expensive to buy and expensive to run, but they are seen as one of the most desirable prestige cars in the UK. There may be a few complaints regarding the Ranger Rover’s ability as a sports car (mainly due to its big size and heavy weight), but it’s still an incredibly stylish and spacious off road vehicle with a top of the line technology.
