The Art of Villainy – Jaguar Style
In recent years, Jaguar has launched one of the best advertisement campaigns done by a car manufacturer. The British Villains campaign has features famous British actors like Tom Hiddleston, Mark Strong and Nicholas Hoult as the faces of villainy. This was all in the effort of promoting their newest range including the Jaguar F-Type and F-Pace and it took the World by storm.
Originally and rather uniquely, Jaguar released their F-type as a roadster and then brought out a coupe version, whereas most other companies release their cars the other way round. This set the tone for how Jaguar were going to run their new range and the subsequent campaign – Their way.
The F-type is a gorgeous looking car with the top of the range car carrying a 5-litre supercharged V8 engine that can sprint to its top speed of 185 MPH and go from 0-60 in 4 seconds. This is achieved because the engine produces 550 bhp. It also has an all-wheel drive system and an automatic gear box.
The F-Type has quick, responsive steering and it feels powerful to handle, especially with that big V8 under the bonnet.
Jaguar F-Type Coupe
The F-Type Coupe is very similar to the roadster F-Type in that is a gorgeous sleek, two seater sports car that is incredible fun and is easy for day to day use.
Again the top model has a powerful 5-Litre V8 engine that produces 550bhp to help it race from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 186 MPH thanks to its automatic gear box and all-wheel drive systems. However, there is a supercharged V6 model for less money but has a top speed of 171 MPH and races from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds.
Interior wise the coupe is a driver’s car with a beautiful metal starter button and metal gearshift paddles behind the steering wheel on automatic models.
Later this year, Jaguar is releasing a more powerful, faster model known as the Jagur F-Type SVR that reportable has 567 bhp produces from its 5-Litre supercharged V8 engine that can go from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and can exceed 200 for its top speed.
Jaguar’s XE is Jaguar entrant into the small executive saloon market to take on the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4 and it is a definite competitor. If you are looking for an all-round day to day saloon then this is one of the best with excellent handling, comfortable, fast ride and a great performance form both its petrol and diesel engines.
The interior is spacious with adjustable seats for the driver and passengers. It has a decent sized boot that can carry up to 455-litres. There is a new InControl infotainment system that dominates the competition and the rest of the cabin is made from comfortable and high quality materials.
The XF is the mid-range premium saloon that quintessentially Jaguar. The material quality of the interior has vastly improved along with the infotainment system and the extra space makes it the place to drive. The boot can also hold up to 540-litres.
The car is also lower to the ground than the older models, combined with the fact that the XF is 190kg lighter because Jaguar have used a lot of aluminium for the body, makes this care not only cheaper to run, it makes the drive so much better. The handling is fantastic thanks to very responsive steering that acts instantly when you turn a corner. Again like the XE, the XE is available in both petrol and diesel engines.
The Jaguar XJ is the luxury saloon, offering you both comfort, quality and a supremely fun driving experience. Compared with its mostly German rivals, the XJ conquers them all with its high-quality interior thanks to its wood veneer and top-quality leather everywhere and the beautiful metal buttons and dials. The space inside it also great for both front and pack passengers and the driver has a fully adjustable seat and steering wheel.
The XJ like the other Jaguar saloons is available with petrol and diesel engines and can reach top speeds of 174 MPH and go from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. This car is also insanely fun to drive, especially on curvy roads thanks to its impressive handling.
Jaguar has finally entered the small SUV market with a very strong contender with the F-Pace. Performance wise this car is no slow coach. It’s 0-60 goes from 7.8 seconds down to 4.9 seconds and it can get top speeds up to 155 MPH. It comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that does have manual shifting modes.
But onto the important part of the car. This car is spacious and comfortable and has a luxurious, high quality cabin that makes driving in it a dream. Everything is covered in high quality leather and you have an electronically adjustable seat and steering wheel so you have the perfect driving position for you. The space for the driver and the front and back passengers is plenty both in leg room and height meaning that anyone can sit comfortable in the F-Pace. The boot space also delivers a fantastic 650-litre boot capacity.
