The Cars In The Fate Of The Furious (FF8)

It is 2017 and that means another Fast and Furious film has been released. Fast and Furious 8: The Fate of the Furious was released on Thursday 13th April and is filled with some of the most beautiful and crazy cars in the World. This film gives vehicular mayhem a whole new meaning, but we want to discuss the stars of the film today. The cars that made the whole film possible.

There are the classic cars of the franchise such a Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger that reappear but new cars have also been introduced. These cars represent the characters who drive them.

Dominic Toretto’s 1971 Plymouth Road Runner GTX

If you are a fan of the series, you will know that Dominic Toretto played by Vin Diesel loves American muscle cars. For this films, you witness Dom take to the streets of New York City in a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner GTX. This model broods in black with 16-inch wide rear tyres. It tears up the New York streets being pursued by the rest of Dom’s team in their gleaming mixture of sports cars, supercars and muscle cars. No spoilers, but this car is impressive.

Letty Ortiz’s 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C2

Letty is the perfect wife for Dom because of their mutual love for American muscle. In almost every film, they have raced together in a variety of different muscle cars. In The Fate of the Furious, Letty pursues Dom through New York City in a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C2. The look and sound of this car throughout the scene will make you fall in love with it.

Roman Pearce’s Bentley Continental GT BR9 Coupe & Lamborghini Murcielago

Roman Pearce is loud and shallow. He chooses his cars based on that. The louder, flashier and boisterous they are, the more Roman will love them. For New York, Roman chooses a Bentley Continental GT in white and burgundy with a Vorsteinernero BR9 body kit. This is the flashiest car in the New York City crew and it doesn’t come to the most dignified ends.

Later in the film, Roman continues his trend and chose a Lamborghini Murcielago as his car of choice. However, this is Fast and Furious film, so Roman has clearly made a comical error. He ends up driving the Lamborghini in the ice and snow in Russia. Again, it doesn’t end well for the car.

Tej Parker’s Mercedes AMG GT

Tej is tech support. This is the guy the crew turn to for all things electronics. When it comes to choosing a car, Tej will choose a reliable, efficient vehicle that looks beautiful. So why wouldn’t he choose the German build Mercedes-AMG GT?  It is fast, efficient and it looks amazing. Tej always makes a good choice when it comes to his car.

What is even more exciting is that we have a Mercedes-AMG GT in stock now.

Deckard Shaw’s Jaguar F-Type Coupe

Deckard Shaw played by Jason Statham is British and therefore requires a car that represents Britain perfectly. In the previous film, he drove an Aston Martin. However, for The Fate of the Furious, Shaw drove a Jaguar F-Type Coupe. It even comes in British racing green. It isn’t subtle. But who cares? The F-Type is aggressive, sleek and worthy just like Shaw in this new film.

We have two F-Type models in stock now. We have the Coupe and the Convertible now.

Fast and Furious series is about fast, prestige cars. Over the past few films, the cars used have become more expensive, more luxurious and beautiful to behold. The lesson of the series is that anything can be achieved in a beautiful car. That is why we aim to supply you with the prestige cars like Jaguars, Mercedes, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Porsche, McLaren and much more.
